🌍 Honor the Earth Short Film & Resource Page 🌎
Aloha friends!
I’m proud to share my first official ‘short film’ in support of the Earth and future generations! (Well, that’s not exactly true as I created a short film about my talented musician friend Simrit and how she used some of the horse hair from the Wind Horse Sanctuary herd for her Greek helmet. Please watch the film ‘The Herd, Helmet & Simrit’ here if you like!)
For the ‘Honor the Earth’ film featured here I worked hard and stretched my capacity for creativity in it’s creation. This is my first film to combine music, video, spoken word and epic photos. I hope you enjoy it! If you like it please comment, like it, share it and subscribe to my page. That will help it gain more visibility. This message is so beyond me! Please also check out the Honor the Earth Instagram page I created for the film!
I also created a ‘For the Earth’ environmental resource page to go along with the video. After growing up in a family of hard core environmentalists it deeply hurts my heart to see the extreme amount of apathy around the issue of climate change and caring for the Earth. My dear mother, who is also journeying with stage 4 cancer, helped me create this page full of solutions to stop climate change, support healthy bee habitat, worthy organizations to support, book and film resource lists. Please check it out and let me know what you think! Please share it if you’re inspired!
When the terrible lightening fires broke out in California in August, I realized that I had to do something to speak up about climate change, the upcoming election and correlate it with my cancer healing journey.
I realized that those of us sensitive beings who succumb to cancer at a young age are canaries in a coal mine. We are the ones that are reflecting the state of the Earth that is vastly out of balance.
The horrid truth is that until something is done to reverse the environmental destruction, more people at a younger age will sadly be diagnosed with cancer. I have no idea how much time I have left on this wondrous planet, which makes it all the more important to share this truth.
It is vitally important to focus on SOLUTIONS for the environmental, rather than stay stuck in a vicious cycle of apathy. When we feel empowered in a situation then it is possible to CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE!
🌏BE THE CHANGE! 🌎
Mahalo for caring and for tuning in! It takes all of us to make a change. Please don’t wait for the politician to take action. The care of our beloved home planet is the responsibility of ALL OF US!
With great love,
Tara
