🌍 Reduce Plastic Use! Do you know that most plastics ARE NOT actually being recycled? Yes, I hate to break it to you but when you diligently wash & organize your plastics to be recycled, drop it on your curb or take it to the recycling center MOST of that plastic is being burned or buried! Shocking right? 😳
Do you know that plastics are so integrated into the ecosystem that sadly plastic particles are showing up in the placenta of unborn babies: “Microplastic particles have been revealed in the placentas of unborn babies for the first time, which the researchers said was “a matter of great concern”.” From the Guardian
I, like you, struggle with not using plastic as it is EVERYWHERE! I’m not perfect. I still use it. It is so hard to NOT use it when the dog food, horse stuff, my many supplement bottles, etc are all packaged in plastic?!?
