Remembering Daisy

If you attended any of my Equine Facilitated Learning workshops at Wind Horse Sanctuary years ago, then you were probably blessed to be in Daisy, the Halflinger mare's presence. She passed in the beginning of January this year and I completed this 4 minute video to honor her at the end of January. Unfortunately, my father's health started rapidly declining around that time, which turned my world upside down and prevented me from sharing this video.

Better late than never!

Daisy was a powerful force of nature. She was an excellent therapy horse, gentle and kind who was an excellent teacher about boundaries! I hope you enjoy my 4 minute homage to beloved Daisy, queen mare & lead beauty of the WHS herd❗️

This video is especially poignant to me as one of the last photos is a shot of my parents with Daisy. When I originally finished the video, at the end of January, my father was in good health. My mom passed in 11/21, so the last photo was a secret tribute to her. What I didn’t realize is that my father’s health was soon to go downhill. He sadly passed on 3/22/22, so the last photo is extra special now. 💔
